On July 28th, I will be holding a workshop at the Pikto Studio in the distillery district, and will require child models for approximately two hours of shooting time on that day. The afternoon segment of the workshop is geared to allow participants to watch what happens during a typical child portrait session, how I relate to kids, and the a review of the images that result from the session.
Participation as a child model is not compensated with payment, however, your child will be receiving a complementary studio session (value $350 plus tax) that day. Images from the session will be made available to the parents to purchase, should they desire reprinted copies. Print prices are at their regular price as per the website at www.heatherrivlin.com/index2.php, and a model release must be signed with your participation.
It has not been determined yet, but there may be an opportunity for some of the participants to snap a few frames of your child, should they desire the "practice opportunity". If you would prefer that only I photograph your child, please let me know, and you can still participate!
